This Tuesday, Florey pays his respects to the King of the Kaijus!
Godzilla 1954 is a literal blast from the past. With the original film, Toho, Ishiro Honda, and the rest of the talented team behind the movie created the world’s most popular kaiju as well as a powerful allegory and symbol for creatives and storytellers to use as a vehicle for decades to come. Florey’s print takes a painterly approach, emulating more Eastern styles of brushstrokes and painting for a scenic, yet danger-filled, print that depicts the moments before Godzilla hits land and chaos ensues.
Florey’s print will be available on Tuesday (4/7) @ 12PM ET on our homepage, Bottleneckgallery.com!
